I give you all the tools that you’ll need. Each module comes ​with checklists and monthly planner to keep you on track, as ​well as transcripts and key summarized points. I’ve also included ​legal documents for you to use and templates for pricing, sales ​copy, social media, surveys and more.

Do it on your own time. This course is completely self-paced ​so that you can do it on your own time. There’s plenty to keep ​you on track and moving forward though so you don’t get stuck!

Module 1: Getting Started

Let’s discuss what defines a retreat and some examples of how they look. We’ll also ​talk about what’s a good length and an ideal size to take with you.

Module 2: Finding Your Venue

Here we’ll talk about different types of venues you could host your retreat at, ​different considerations to keep in mind (food, safety, weather), what amenities to ​look out for and how to vet your venue.

Module 3: Setting Up Your Business

What do you need to have in place to run your retreat as a business? We’ll touch on ​that here and discuss what sorts of insurance you’ll want to look into.

Module 4: Your Theme/Purpose

This is the heart of the course! We’ll get clear on who your target audience is, what ​they want/need and how to talk to them to develop sales copy for your site and ​marketing material.

Module 5: Retreat Pricing

Let’s get clear on what your “hard” costs or “base” costs are and discuss how you’ll ​add in your desired profit. We’ll also talk about how to incentivize people to sign up ​and use psychologically pleasing numbers that are appealing to a buyers’ eye.

Module 6: Setting Up Your Website

No website? No problem! I’ll show you what you can use to set up your retreat page, ​as well as what needs to be on it and the layout.

Module 7: Terms & Conditions (Contract)

Here we’ll discuss the importance of having a contract to protect yourself and what ​needs to be on it. I’ve included a sample of the contract I use for my retreats in this ​course.

Module 8: Announcing & Promoting

In this module, we’ll go into strategic ways to announce your retreat, how and how ​often to promote, creating extra incentives for people sign up and using your sales ​copy in your marketing.

Module 9: Preparation & Arrival

Let’s discuss best practices for preparation yourself AND your clients for your retreat. ​We’ll also talk about setting up your itinerary, what to do when you arrive, how to ​welcome people and maintaining boundaries.

Module 10: Making It Special

In this module, we’ll go into some ways you can make your retreat stand out ​including opening/closing circles and gift bags.

Module 11: Your Retreat As A Stepping Stone

Your retreat isn’t the end all, be all! Let’s talk about how you can continue the work ​and upsell your other services such as one-on-one sessions during your retreat, VIP ​days directly afterwards and more.

Module 12: Post Retreat

What happens afterwards? Let’s go into best practices for post-retreat ​communication and surveys to maintain connection with the group and improve on ​the next one.

Can I lead a retreat if I’m not a yoga teacher?

Absolutely! You can lead a retreat about anything that you want! ​You can lead a writer’s retreat, a cooking retreat, a knitting retreat- ​ANYTHING! Instead of teaching yoga classes- you’d teach about ​your area of expertise.

I’ve never led a retreat, is this for beginners?
